I see
it often. Businesses spend a tremendous amount of time in needless
data entry and handling, restraining their business growth and limiting
profits. How does a business overcome this trend?
Middleware applications.
They save countless hours of data entry time per year and
more importantly, middleware prevents inefficient "hand-offs"
which means you'll eliminate errors and greatly speed up processes.
First, to find where you may have needless data
entry and handling, look for how many "hand-offs" any
process has. For example, take the typical sales order process.
For many businesses, it works something like this:
- The salesperson has a prospect with interest in their product
or service.
- A technician reviews the client requirements and prepares

| Expiration
of Microsoft Windows XP Announced in New PC Purchases |

You may remember that very soon
after Microsoft released Windows XP operating system for personal
computers, you were not able to buy a PC with the older, Windows
2000 operating system. Microsoft just stopped making it available
for purchase.
I'm sure they would have liked
to force sales of Vista in the same manner, but there were too many
programs that were incompatible with Vista when it was first released
about a year and a half ago, and too many big corporations just
said "no" to upgrading. However, Microsoft now thinks

sales of Windows XP - June 30th of this year.
They have made one exception, read

The Expert: What's the Difference Between The Licensing Options
Microsoft Offers?

by
Chris Pavnica
Microsoft offers many types of licensing with benefits based
on the type you purchase. Let's cover some of the options, the

hardware (i.e. a new PC or server). You order the hardware along
with the software or applications pre-installed from the manufacturer.
This is a good option ONLY if your company
upgrades software when they purchase new hardware. The biggest
misconception with this type of license is these licenses are

Have you noticed that some websites have an icon
or a logo in the address bar of their website? One, for example,
is the website Google.com, which has the "G" icon:
These are called favicons (pronounced fav-icons)
and they are also known as "website icons" or "bookmark
icons". A favicon is a visual shortcut to your website
or a mini-logo. Depending on your web browser (Internet Explorer,
Firefox, etc.) the favicon will be seen:
| 1. In your address
bar: |

2. On your
list of favorites or bookmarked pages
(only if the user bookmarks the page):
